Chem Pack – the range of Citizen Genuine Consumables dedicated to mark goods according to Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals & CLP Regulation (for “Classification, Labelling and Packaging”) which is a European Union regulation from 2008.
Perfect Printer 4….
Citizen has a wide range of printers suitable for printing chemical labels. Please note that to print ChemPack P4-17305 you need to use CL-S6621 printer because 6 inch width of printhead is required for this product. Other sizes of ChemPack can be also printed on printers equipped with 4 inch print heads.
Do you know that….
- there are strict rules which tells you what minimum size of the label must be used according to capacity of the package
- These rules are coordinated by UNECE – The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe
For packages not greater than 3 liters ChemPack P4-17302 is the right solution. If possible the size of the label should be at least 52×74 mm and dimension of each pictogram not less than 10×10 mm but if possible at least 16×16 mm - Between 3 and 50 liters P4-17303 is the right choice. Pictogram size should be at least 23 x 23 mm
- For capacities of package between 50 and 500 liters the size of the label should be at least 105×148 what is covered by P4-17304 with pictogram size 32×32 mm
- P4-17305 is designed to label packages with capacity above 500 liters. For these capacities pictogram size is at least 46×46 mm.
- All ChemPack labels are made from polypropylene – the material which is widely used in chemical industry as well as in laboratory applications.
- Resin grade of thermal transfer ribbon gives you chemical resistance and superb printing quality.
In the near future we plan to increase the range of ChemPack labels. New products will be available in the same sizes but will have additionally preprinted red squares for pictograms. These labels will allow to print chemical labels with hazardous pictograms using Citizen Label Printers. You will be able to choose ChemPacks with one, two, three or four red squares to print chemical label with proper pictograms suitable for your products.
